The holidays with your own business and a child are crazy! Throw in some crazy heat and who knows what might happen!!!
I’m going to try and embrace the madness and enjoy every minute! I also want to try to make the most of family time! I know I’ll be trying to work in the middle of the night (being a nocturnal being) and then struggling to wake with her in the morning.
I’ve got 2 weeks completely off which I’m really looking forward to but otherwise planning on working around my LO.
I work mainly evenings so my hubby can have her but my paperwork, choreography and 1:1s will be harder. I’ve had to book friends and family to help but I’m lucky that they like being with my girl.
I have found booking time off sometimes actually makes the times I’m open busier because I force them to break at the same time. Obviously, the summer is longer and more difficult but generally this still works.
My feelings are all over the place to be honest. I’m excited to be having time with my little girl but terrified of keeping her entertained and that without school we’re the sole input!!! I love my business but am nervous of closing and not making money but also of opening and no one coming! I am looking forward to a break but wondering if I can fit in some running, reading, sun bathing and resting, oh and writing more of my book too!!!?!!!!
As my company is about mental wellbeing as well as physical fitness, I’d like to do some vlogs to continue to encourage and empower! Therefore, I know I MUST also reflect on my own mental health and not attempt the impossible but to prioritise and have fun!
